Before submitting your Ebook to the Kindle Publishing Platform, you should always check how your book will look on a Kindle reader device.
You can do this easily with the MobiPocket Creator program. You can download my free tutorial on how to do it right.
The MobiPocket program converts DOC, PDF, and TXT files to the Kindle MOBI and PRC format, and you can see how your document will look in the Kindle device.
If your original document does not include a table of contents, you can use the Wizard to automatically create one for you.
- Another way to see how your Kindle book will look without owning a Kindle device, is with the free "Kindle for your PC" program from Amazon.
Go to Amazon.com and click on the Kindle link > Ereaders > Kindle for PC (or Mac).
- Or you can download a copy of the (free) Kindle Previewer tool from Amazon.
This is another way to see how your Kindle book is formatted when displayed on a Kindle Ebook reader.
So, these are 3 free ways to test your book without actually owning a physical Kindle.
Easy, right ;)
My business friend Val Waldeck has written a guide on how to optimize your books for the Kindle store if you need more help with formatting and publishing your Kindle book. You can read more about it right here.

How to create Kindle books fast with Private Label Rights content
Publishing your own book on Amazon's Kindle store is a simple process, and it's free too, so you just need to get started ;)
The simplest way to create an Ebook for the Kindle is by writing it from scratch. But what if you don't have time for it? We are all busy people, and our time is limited.
Well, there's an excellent alternative.
You can take advantage of Private Label Content. This stands for pre-writen content in the form of articles, reports, Ebooks, in other words; content that you can completely rewrite, re-edit, and use as you wrote it all by yourself.
My buddie Jason Oickle runs a web site that gives away fresh PLR content every month -and it's free to join: http://www.instantinfoprofit.com/kindle-report/plclub.htm
Every month you'll get:
- 20 Fresh Private Label Articles
- 2 Fresh PSD Private Label Header Graphics
Not a bad deal, right?
Go sign up, download some of the PLR articles inside the members area, and you will be able to create new Kindle books fast.
If you become a paid member, you will have access to much more PLR content that you can use to create new Kindle books.
